The world stands at a crossroads, burdened by vast challenges that threaten our shared existence. Yet, in the midst of this uncertainty, it is human connection that continues to ignite my imagination and guide my work. During the COVID-19 pandemic — a time that laid bare our vulnerabilities but also reminded us of the vital importance of human connection, I created this series. When I encountered the Dutch twin sisters, I was profoundly moved by the quiet power of their bond — a relationship woven from love, trust, and unspoken understanding. Their unity became a symbol, a living metaphor for the deeper ties that bind us all.
