After New York and Amsterdam the exhibition “Keep on Dreaming” will show at Gallery SIRIUS in Tokyo, making it an intercontinental travelling exhibition. “Keep on Dreaming” is a tribute to fantasy and imagination in which 23 Dutch Photographers express the inner experience of desires and dreams in a subtile, emotional, conflicting or surreal fashion.
Aloys Ginjaar and Astrid Verhoef have organised this exhibition for the international photofestival “Photoville 2013” in New York. Photoville attracted over 58.000 visitors and the response to “Keep on Dreaming” was overwhelming. His excellency Rob de Vos, consul-general of the Netherlands in New York, conducted the official opening and called the exhibition “a contribution to the avant-garde image of Dutch art in New York”.
After the succes in New York, they have been invited to show “Keep on Dreaming” at Amstel Galery in Amstedram, The Netherlands, February 2014. And now the third show of this travelling exhibition has been announced. The opening will be held at May 22nd 2014, at Gallery SIRIUS in Tokyo.
The exhibition consists of more than 60 photographs of 23 Dutch Photographers. Participating Artists are:
